EVA(ethylene-vinyl acetate) has rubber-like properties but tends to be softer than rubber, which means lesser
padding and more flexibility.
Rubber on the other hand provides better traction and does not deform easily and is quite stiff and sturdy.
In the end it all comes down to one thing- QUALITY. Because each manufacturer uses his own formula,
as you change the proportions for the mixture, the properties change as well.
